Areas of Professional Accomplishments:

Counseling/Mental Health Outstanding Achievement:

  • 2013 - Present: Developed a student counseling practice for Everest College campuses in the Puget Sound region of Washington State with offices in Tacoma, Everett, Renton and Bremerton 
  • 2008 - Present: SoulCraft Counseling & Coaching Services, a private practice in psychotherapy and ecotherapy.


Teaching Outstanding Achievements:

  • I have developed curricula for English, biology, environmental science, environmental education, philosophy, and spirituality classes.
  • In 2005, I was awarded recognition in the Who’s Who of America’s Teachers, which is a national registry of outstanding American educators.


Writing/Editing Outstanding Achievements:

  • I have written over one hundred essays, thirty of which have been published.
  • I edited a 600-page manuscript into a 300-page book about the psychological, social, ecological and cosmological dimensions of the human soul, entitled The Architecture of the Soul.  (The author of the original manuscript is Albert LaChance, Ph.D.)  The North Atlantic Press published it in December 2005.  (It can be found at Amazon.com here: http://www.amazon.com/The-Architecture-Soul-Unitive-Person/dp/1556436025.)


Public Relations/Development/Management Outstanding Achievements:

  • Managed an extensive indoor/outdoor recreation and entertainment program for a large family resort for six years from 1982 through 1986 in Virginia.
  • I supervised two successful fundraising drives for the Antioch New England Graduate School in 1996 and 1997, raising more than $200,000.00.
